In an emergency the emotional component and the appearance of unforeseen circumstances can influence the work of health personnel: the simulation of possible scenarios can be a useful training methodology that allows to make rational choices.

Postpartum hemorrhage is the leading cause of direct death in obstetrics, responsible for ¼ of all maternal deaths in Italy. It is shown that the routine simulation of adverse sufferers reduces complications in ostery and neonatology and contributes to improving the performance of healthcare professionals belonging to the multidisciplinary team. The video shows how positive feedback communication allows emergency management in a precise and effective way.
