The validation of the Meressina prototype, addressed in the final phase of the previous research project, had highlighted some limits of our work. Thanks to this funding from the University of Pisa, therefore, we were able to deepen research on materials: the plastic syringes, used in the initial prototype, were replaced with ad hoc cut glass syringes; we have optimized the use of glues and silicones; we finally optimized the assembly of the engines, anchoring them more firmly to the axle… technical features that have made our simulator much more efficient!
